Have a go Graffiti and Street Art workshops with Silk Crystal. Dan is an Ilfracombe based street artist whose work you will no doubt of seen in a few local spots including The Arches, High Street, Ropery Road as well as North Devon attractions The Milky Way and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.  

Ages 8 plus (under 14’s must be accompanied by a parent) 

Funky young artists under 8 are welcome to join us for some chalk pavement art!! 

No charge – all materials and masks provided

Have you seen them? They’re called Hobbes! (the cat, not the person). Running Dog Theatre CIC need your help to bring them back together again. A gentle, silly, puppet walkabout for those who love cats – and those who don’t!

Join our bee keepers and make your own flowers and bees. You’ll get a chance to take your handmade flowers and insects home and you’ll also get to say hello to their favorite bee!

Suspending performers from the top of the Landmark Cones, Yskynna Vertical Dance explore the edges and profiles the architecture offers in an exciting and stunning new piece of work. Movement and stillness are part of our daily lives and the theatre stands proudly by the sea and in the wind. The performance takes inspiration from our Victorian heritage and the shapes and patterns of our surroundings. Look out, look up, stand, see and breathe for a moment as your perspective shifts and changes.

Write a story | Craft its world | Animate it through sound

a workshop by Restless Successors

In this open workshop you can stretch your creative muscles and imagination in a fun, exciting environment. Even if you have never written before, we invite you to imagine a world and bring it to life through crafts and sound!

How the workshop works

Writing prompts: collect your character, story and setting clues

Writing station: we’ll support you to write your own original story

Crafting station: you’ll find art supplies galore, to create a poster for your story

Sound station: play with instruments and other objects to create, record and design the soundscape for your story – you’ll get to hear it live in the room!

Drop in at any point from 12:00 to 15:30 (we will close the doors at 16:00), bring your friends and family, and enjoy a day filled with creative exploration and wonder!

Open to all ages

Based between North Devon and London, Restless Successors are a new theatre company founded by Writer and Dramaturg Natalia Riga and Composer and Sound Designer Peter Buffery, presenting original plays and installations.
