Underbelly reclaims a forgotten chapter of a Victorian underworld celebrating the power, wit and solidarity of the “fallen” women who broke the rules and re-shaped them. Each movement journeys into the shadows, bringing to life a world that sought to erase them.

Queens of the Shadows is a bold and dynamic contemporary dance piece inspired by the notorious 40 Elephants. Based in the Elephant and Castle this all female gang of shop lifters rules Victorian London with elegance, cunning and fierce independence.

An unlikely duet for Ernie, 18, and Gerard, 73. There are 55 years between them. You will find Gerard roaming with his "in memoriam" bench looking for a place to rest. Unshirking, an intimate watch.
