On 27 November 2025, ten of the UK’s leading experts briefed an invited audience of more than 1,200 politicians and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media in Westminster.

The briefing set out the implications of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy. It’s purpose was to demonstrate what a clear, evidence-led national emergency briefing could look like and why it is needed. That evidence now forms part of the public record. This urgent message is being taken nationwide through the People’s Emergency Briefing film – a new public-facing initiative designed to bring the findings directly to communities across the UK and encourage collective discussion on how to respond. Focused on transparency and public engagement around the climate and nature crisis, the film invites audiences to gather locally, hear the evidence, and explore solutions.

There will be a short introduction to the film and the opportunity for discussion afterwards.
