Set on a relaxing yoga retreat in the serene Devon countryside, we meet our anti-heroes at a cross roads in their lives: one starting a new business on the right side of divorce, another in the post natal throes of her matrescence and drowning in her loss of self and the third calmy holding a mirror up to us all, while paddling like mad, unseen, to stay afloat.
Three unforgiving women, distant friends reunited, discuss their various useless appendages and one, rather unhinged, writer-on-the-shelf is tempted to use her notebooks to bash her apathetic husband’s head in, and bury him under the patio with the help of her two friends.
Will she or won’t she, and will her truest friends choose to help?
Unexplored Places is a Devon based-theatre company producing and exploring new work through various mediums such as writing, performance poetry, dance, directing, choreography and collaboration.
