Be part of something special. Volunteering with Landmark Theatres is a fantastic way to support the arts, meet new people, and play a key role in the life of your local venue.
Across our unique theatres, our volunteers are essential in helping us deliver brilliant experiences to thousands of visitors each year.
Whether you’re looking to give something back to your community, develop new skills, or simply spend time in a fun and creative environment, we’d love to welcome you to the team.

What do our volunteers do?
Our volunteer roles are varied, flexible and rewarding. You don’t need previous experience—just a friendly attitude, willingness to get involved, and a love of live entertainment.
Typical volunteering duties might include:
-
Welcoming and directing audiences
-
Scanning tickets and assisting with seating
-
Providing information about our venues and upcoming shows
-
Supporting access needs and ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests
-
Acting as ambassadors for the theatre within the local community
You’ll be fully supported by our friendly front-of-house and customer experience teams, and we’ll always make sure you feel confident and ready before you start.

"I’ve developed a deeper appreciation for the arts and the hard work that goes into every production, which has enriched my own creativity and empathy. Volunteering has helped me build greater confidence, especially in social settings. Interacting with diverse groups of people - from performers to audience members - has improved my communication skills and taught me the value of collaboration."
"Professionally, volunteering has enhanced my organisational and time management skills. Whether helping with ushering or meeting and greeting the visitors at the theatre. Since joining as a volunteer, I have gained multiple transferable skills, which could be used in the work place in a multitude of industries."
"I started volunteering in 2019 after seeing an article to say that the New theatre was going to be re opening after being closed for many years. I felt that this was an ideal time to get involved in voluntary work as I have a love of musical theatre and the arts and this is something that I am very passionate about."
