At Landmark Theatres, we want everyone to enjoy their visit – whether it’s their first show or their fiftieth. To help us ensure a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all, we kindly ask audiences to follow our theatre etiquette guidelines.

Standing and Dancing

We understand that the high energy of some performances may encourage audience members to stand or dance. However, some patrons may prefer – or need – to remain seated throughout the show, and we want to ensure their view and enjoyment are not compromised.

For this reason, we operate a ‘seated only’ policy during performances, with the exception of any encores performers may include at the end of the show. During encores, if you do choose to stand or dance, please do so with consideration for others around you and ensure you’re not creating a hazard or blocking anyone’s view.

Mobile Phones

Please remember to switch your mobile phone to silent mode before the performance begins. Even the smallest notification can be distracting to both the performers and those around you.

Filming and Photography

Filming and photography are strictly prohibited during the performance. Not only can this disturb the performers, but it can also obstruct the view of fellow audience members. Our Front of House team may ask you to put your device away if this policy is not followed.

Arriving on Time

Performances begin promptly at the advertised start time. Please allow plenty of time for travel, parking, and queuing. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance or the interval, at the discretion of the Front of House team.

Respecting Our Team

Our Front of House staff are here to keep you safe and to help you enjoy your visit. Some are volunteers who generously give their time, and we kindly ask that they are treated with respect at all times.

If you need assistance or experience any issues during your visit, please speak to a member of the team. Our staff are trained to help – and we’re proud of the service they provide. Landmark Theatres operates a zero tolerance policy: anyone who behaves in a disrespectful or abusive manner towards staff, volunteers, or fellow patrons will be asked to leave the venue.

Social Media Conduct

We love hearing about your experience with us on social media – so if you’ve had a great time, please do share it with your friends and followers!

If you have constructive feedback or a concern you’d like to raise, we’d really appreciate you contacting us directly by email rather than posting publicly. This helps us resolve any issues personally and promptly.

Smoking and Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the premises, including outdoor areas within the venue boundary.
